Do you balk at such a statement?  Well, just think of it.  In many ways, wedding planning is the organizing of the lives of two souls to be brought together'ostensibly, and effectively'also bringing together generations of family members, friends, work associates, and even complete strangers, to dress up in 'Sunday best' [in most cases], meet in a single place on a particular day, coordinating photographers, caterers, florists, and many other working professionals in a manner that'all'WORKS!

Wedding planning, for sure, takes talent and EFFORT!

Now, you're probably thinking to your self it takes the cooperation of many people, which is out of your hands'and that's true, to some extent'but do you really think all of those guests, professionals, and participants would all come together without the diligent efforts of one 'master planner', assisted by dutiful helpers?  And such is the essence of successful wedding planning!
